Swissturn’s Star Swiss CNC screw machines manufacture components ranging from .010” in diameter to 1.250”. The length of parts manufactured by these screw machines ranges from .010” to 12” in length. Component parts are manufactured from aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, Inconel, nickel silver, plastic, stainless steel, steel, fine and sterling silver, titanium, and tool steel.
The Star Swiss CNC screw machines are capable of machining different types of miniature screws, both standard and special threads.
Swissturn’s Okuma CNC Lathe gives us an expanded bar stock capacity of up to 2.0” in diameter. The Okuma is primarily used to machine short runs of large component parts or to complete operations that could not be completed on our CNC Swiss machines.
Swissturn’s Cincinnati & Royal Master Centerless Grinders can centerless grind bar stock up to 1.0” in diameter and component parts up to 2.0” in diameter.
